These terms apply to momentumenergyadvisors.com and to the software Momentum Energy Advisors LLC operates. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
Momentum Energy Advisors LLC is registered in Wyoming, United States, at 309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801. In these terms, "we" and "Momentum" mean that company, and "you" means whoever is reading the site.
The site is information, not advice
What you read here describes how Momentum works and what the firm thinks about energy transition, climate finance, and programme delivery. It is general information. It is not advice on your situation, and reading it does not make you a client.
Advice from Momentum comes under a signed contract and only then. If there is no contract, there is no engagement, whatever has been discussed by email.
Insight pieces carry a date. Policy, tariffs, and regulation move, sometimes fast. We do not promise that an older piece still holds.
Our content
The text, diagrams, photographs, and code on this site belong to Momentum Energy Advisors LLC, except where they are credited to someone else. You may read it, print it, and quote short passages with attribution and a link back. You may not republish a whole piece, sell it, feed it to a third party as your own material, or present it as your work. For anything beyond a short quote, ask us first.
Where a page cites a donor programme, a report, or a public source, the rights in that source stay with its owner.
What you send us
Use the contact form and our email address for genuine enquiries. Do not use them to send unlawful material, to advertise, or to run automated submissions.
Do not send confidential or privileged material before we have a contract and have agreed how to handle it. Email is not a secure channel, and an unsolicited message puts no duty of confidence on us. Once we are engaged, confidentiality is governed by the contract.
We answer most enquiries within two business days. We are not obliged to answer, and an enquiry does not create an engagement.
What you send us is handled as set out in our privacy policy.
Momentum's software
Momentum builds internal tools to run the firm's own administration and correspondence. They are not offered to the public. There is no sign-up, no account to create, and no user other than the firm and its principal.
Where one of those tools connects to a third-party service such as Google, it does so with the authorisation of the account holder, under read-only access, and on the terms set out in the privacy policy. If we ever open a tool to clients, it will come with its own terms and you will be asked to accept them.
Links to other sites
We link to other sites where it helps the reader. We do not control them, we do not endorse everything on them, and we are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your data.
Availability and accuracy
The site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and online as best we can, but we do not promise it will be free of errors or reachable at all times. We may change, move, or remove pages without notice.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Momentum Energy Advisors LLC is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on what it says. That includes lost profit, lost business, and indirect or consequential loss.
Liability under a signed engagement is governed by that contract, not by these terms. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top of the page says when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the version then published.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Any dispute arising from them goes to the courts of that state. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest stands.
